The main difference between the original EK Archery Cobra System RX Adder and the new Version 1.5 lies in the improved magazine.
Version 1.5 comes equipped with the ADDER 2.0 magazine, which offers optimised bolt feeding and increased reliability.
The Cobra System Adder from Ek-Archery is an advanced version of the proven Cobra R9 crossbow model by Ek-Archery. This crossbow allows the shooter to reload and shoot five specialized crossbow bolts directly, safely, and conveniently using the crossbow's repeater function through the existing magazine. This offers a completely new experience, unique in the field of crossbow technology. This model has a draw weight of 130 lbs, enabling bolt speeds of up to 296 km/h (270 fps). The extra small yet powerful limb is cocked using a repeater mechanism. This system works perfectly and makes cocking the crossbow much easier.
The cocking mechanism of this crossbow is also innovative. When cocking with the lever, the entire safety block moves forward to grip the string. This special system immediately activates the anti-dry fire safety, and during cocking, the trigger (firing mechanism) is separated from the safety block, providing additional protection against accidental dry fire. The crossbow is equipped with a robust Picatinny rail for attaching optional accessories. This is a powerful and highly innovative crossbow in the finest Ek-Archery quality that leaves little to be desired and offers a lot of enjoyment.
